Thousands of metres up the vertiginous slopes of Shifou Mountain in Hunan Province, China, a team
of workers, operating with hardly any safety measures, are building a footpath.
The workers are building a plank road on the side of the mountain that, once it is finished,
will stretch for 3km (9843 ft) and be China's longest sightseeing footpath

Belgian Grand Prix - 2011
The Belgian Grand Prix is an automobile race, part of the Formula One World Championship. The first national race of Belgium was held in 1925 at the Spa region's race course, an area of the country that had been associated with motor sport since the very early years of racing. To accommodate Grand Prix motor racing, the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps race course was built in 1921 but it was only used for motorcycle racing until 1924. After the 1923 success of the new 24 hours of Le Mans in France, the Spa 24 Hours, a similar 24 hour endurance race, was run at the Spa track.
Drivers and fans alike love the Belgian Grand Prix. Since inception, Spa-Francorchamps has been famous for its unpredictable weather. At one stage in its history it had rained at the Belgian Grand Prix for twenty years in a row. Frequently drivers confront a part of the course that is clear and bright while another stretch is rainy and slippery. Most drivers[who?] today say that the Spa course is the most challenging race track that remains on the F1 calendar.
The Belgian Grand Prix was designated the European Grand Prix six times between 1925 and 1973, when this title was an honorary designation given each year to one grand prix race in Europe.

Peugeot EX1 Concept - Electric Vehicle
The Peugeot EX1 Concept is an electric vehicle made by Peugeot and was presented at the Paris 2010 Motor Show. It has two engines that provides 250 kW (340 hp) and 480 Nm of torque. As part of Peugeot’s 200th anniversary celebrations, the brand’s design offices wanted to create a stunning creation. The wish soon became associated with the idea of highlighting the enormous possibilities offered by the use of electric power as a way to create new driving sensations.
The EX1’s architecture reminds previous charismatic concept cars from Peugeot such as the Asphalte and 20Cup. Shaped like a “water droplet”, with a rear section built around two closely set rear wheels, the EX1 is far from being a “classic” roadster.
The two-seater roadster has a mechanical design which reminds an “exoskeleton”. It highlights the light-weight nature of the vehicle. The EX1 features the new stylistic design codes from Peugeot, first presented on the SR1 concept in earier 2010. The monocoque body structure is manufactured from a carbon/honeycomb composite to optimise weight and rigidity. Thanks to its small dimensions (0.90m of high and width of 1.77m) the EX1 has its overall efficiency enhanced, with a lower centre of gravity and optimized aerodynamics. peugeot.com

Places to visit - Bottom Bay, Barbados
On the southeast coast of Barbados is the lovely and relaxing Bottom Bay. This gorgeous white sand beach is a fantastic spot for a day trip or a picnic. The sound of waves crashing along the shore makes the perfect soundtrack for a relaxing afternoon. The swaying coconut palms create just the right amount of shade over the soft sand. Visitors can try their hand at surfing, though swimming is discouraged at some times of the year due to the strength of the waves. beautifulplacestovisit.com
